Clarksville Design Stage

Some homes are simple refresh jobs that address cabinetry, paint, flooring and such; others, like the Clarksville Project, are going much deeper. This home will see a complete renovation that takes the structure down to the studs. All new utilities, insulation, and windows, will bring this house to modern standards for a whole new generation to call home. This project is a unique one in that this house has been in the same family since it was built over 65 years ago. With that in mind, our clients focus is to make the house a comfortable, safe home for them and future generations.

The first major step in moving toward a successful renovation is defining the direction that we hope to take the project with Clarksville, we know that the replacing of all utilities and the house having demo take it to the studs, we will be working with a blank slate. This home will be a marriage of style preferences from our clients and to help visualize this we created a full set of CAD renderings addressing all interior spaces. This allows both our clients and our team to see in full detail and to exacting scale, what is possible and ultimately what we aim to achieve. This process allows us to navigate the design process with genuine involvement from our clients and given the detail of the renders, minimize confusion or miscommunication.

The Clarksville home will modify the floor plan slightly making better use of the front spaces in the home, a larger and more open kitchen, and an all new primary suite in place of the previous sun room. The result will be a balanced use of the more modest square footage and give renewed life to this 3 bedroom 2 bath gem in north central Austin. We are extremely excited about this project and are thrilled to be working with such wonderful clients.
